Beaupit's Mixed Martial Arts50 Niagara Street, St.Catharines, Ontario, L2E 1L2 905.329.KICK(5425)
Our Adult Program covers all the different aspects of Mixed Martial Arts training: stand-up, clinch and ground. By utilizing the best delivery systems for each range, we offer our students the most complete and functional training available!
At our gym there is no “bowing in”, no calling the teachers “sensei”, no “masters”, no 10 year old "black belts" or 12 year olds teaching the adult classes, no rituals, and no formalities. The individual comes first here, not the system. Each member has the opportunity to help determine how their training will progress, and they are encouraged to voice any thoughts they may have.
If you want to stand in line, beat up imaginary opponents, have orders barked at you in a foreign language, or waste your time on outdated and non-functional training methods, then I thank you for visiting our website but I would suggest that you should stop reading this and check out other sites because our gym is definitely not for you!
If you want to enjoy physical activity, work with classmates that will push you to test yourself, learn functional self defense skills taught with modern, practical training methods, and have the freedom to express yourself and any thoughts you may have regarding your training, then our gym is for you! I would encourage you to read on through our site and enjoy the information.
Here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive:
What are the benefits of this program?
- The foundation of our program is it’s self defense / physical fitness value. This helps to build your confidence, giving you the ability to better handle any conflicts/stress you may face in your everyday routines.
- Your training will help develop many of your attributes, such as co-ordination, strength, and flexibility, and will increase your stamina and endurance.
- Our gym is an enjoyable place to be. It is full of energy and motivation, the people are very positive and the Coaches inspire everyone to be their best, both in and out of the gym.
What is special about this schools adult program?
Here are the 5 main points that make our school unique, and the order of importance that we feel these qualities fall into:
1) the community of people
2) our coaching methodology
3) the way we drill
4) the innovations of our curriculum
5) the functional aspect of our curriculum
Also, unlike other Mixed Martial Arts schools whose curriculum caters to fighters/elite athletes, our curriculum is built for the everyday person who wants to enjoy Mixed Martial arts training, male and female, young and old.
What kind of shape do I have to be in before joining?
- You do not need to be an elite athlete to start our program. As long you have no medical condition that would stop you from being able to perform moderate and up physical activity, your present physical condition is fine to start.
- Training intensity progresses at each students individual pace. We will help you meet your fitness objectives through a carefully planned training program.
How often do I need to attend classes?
- We offer many classes each week for you to participate in. We recommend attending at least 2 classes per week. This will help you get into a regular routine of training, and will allow you to more easily retain the material taught to you.
- Should you wish to attend more than 2 classes per week you are welcome to do so, at no extra charge.
Do I have to compete in tournaments?
- No. We do compete in local and national competitions throughout the year but participation is optional, not mandatory.
How do I get started?
